Hello,
I'm trying to get called party name information on a call through a translation pattern. Calling party comes through fine on the called phone. I have my calling line, calling name, connected line and connected name all set to "allowed" in the translation pattern Is there a parameter I need to change somewhere that I'm forgetting?
Thanks,
Glenn

Hi Glenn,
Can you provide a little more detail, perhaps a sample call flow.
ex.
IP Phone A --> 1000
IP Phone B --> 2000
A dials 9000 --> translation pattern 9000 is used to change the called number to 2000 --> B rings
While B is ringing the called party number of 9000 is displayed as the called party number on A
When B answers the called party changes to 2000

You pretty much have it correct:
Phone A DN 221000
Phone B DN 221001
Translation pattern 1001 translates to 221001
When phone A dials 1001, phone B rings. Phone B sees calling name of Phone A but Phone A only sees “1001” I need for Phone A to see the called party name of Phone B. I’m basically trying use digit expansion by allowing the user to dial a 4 digit number to reach a 6 digit DN

What's the exact version of CUCM that your running?
I'm running 6.1.4.1000-10 and have the following set up and and working.
IP Phone A --> 221000
IP Phone B --> 221001
Translation patter 1001 that prefixes 22
A dials 1001
called party number of 1001 is displayed for a split second (on A) then it changes to 221001 as soon as B starts ringing
when the call is connected A displays a called party number of 221001

I was able to get this to work by setting the alerting name and ASCII Alerting Name on the 221001
IP Phone A --> 221000
IP Phone B --> 221001
(alerting name and ASCII Alerting Name --> Test Alerting Name)
(Display (Internal Caller ID) and ASCII Display (Internal Caller ID) --> Caller ID)
Translation patter 1001 that prefixes 22
A dials 1001
called party number of 1001 is displayed for a split second (on A) then it changes to "to Test Alerting Name (221001)" as soon as B starts ringing
when the call is connected A displays "to Caller ID (221001)"
