Dear all,
I have CUCM6 and everything is working fine except outgoing call.
There is at least 15-18 seconds delay when the CUCM place the call to the Voice gateway!!
Is there any parameter to alter this time or this is an error??

Sounds like you are hitting the interdigit timeout delay. You probably have a couple of route patterns that are similar.
To reduce this you need to either look at you Dial Plan, if this cant be changed then you can reduce the timer.
You access it by going to System>Service Parameters>Cisco CallManager and under the Cluster wide paramters (Device General) you can adjust the T302 timer, the default is 15secs hence the reason for your delay. Take it to say 8secs as you need to leave some delay for slow dialers :-)
Thanks
Paul

Do you have route that is just 9 followed by a wildcard? If so try removing it to see if calls route out immediately. If they do you then may want to temporarily add the wildcard route back in while additional routes are added to the system (if necessary). You will want a wildcard route for international calls but it can cause a delay if a wildcard route is also a match for local and L/D calls.
