Hello,
Iam currently integrating CUCM 7.01 with CUCME 12.4.15T3 and had this issue today:
Network:
CUCM 7.01 ---- Gatekeeper CAC ---- CUCME 12.4.15T3
CUCME Zone: 48 Kbps
CUCM 7.01 configured for all calls intra and inter-region using G.729 codec.
1. User from CUCME calls to IPPhone in CUCM7.01
2. IPPhone in CUCM7.01 is forwarded to another phone in the CUCME branch.
3. Call fails to establish.
ARQ from CUCM 7.01 to gatekeeper when doing the forward is 128k and not 16k. This makes
the ARQ from the CUCME be rejected.
If the CUCM is all configured to 'talk' G.729 to all regions in the deplyoment why is it
requesting 128k?
This really impact my design.
Can you help me?
Thanks,
met

Doesn't anyone has a hint about this behaviour?

Can you post your gatekeeper configs. Also, what region is the gatekeeper in on the CM configuration?

Hi,
Gatekeeper as simple configuration of zones:
48k bw interzone for branch CUCME;
unlimited bw interzone for CUCM;
Region of the gatekeeper (or the h.225 trunk for the gatekeeper) is a new one that talks G.729 to the branches)
That's why i think its strange its asking for 128k,
rgds,
