Hi
I am looking to upgrade from CUCM 7.1.3 to 8.6.2
I currently have 5x HP DL380 G6 with 4x 146Gb HDDs each
From what i am reading the CUCM 8.6.2 SUx requires 300Gb drives.
How can i replace the drives without haveing to completely rebuild everything from scratch ?
If I replace the one drive of each 146Gb Raid array with a 300Gb drive , allow the data to replicate and then replace the other 146gb drive. Will CUCM recognise the increased disk size after a reboot ?
Thanks for any advice you can give.

That just doesn't work, CUCM creates all the Linux partitions upon install (and ONLY during install) and re-sizes them according to the HDD size.
If you do that, you'll end up with 300 GB HDDs but using only 146 GBs of them.
You need to reinstall once you load the 300 GB HDDs and then restore so you really use the full size of the new HDDs.

The only way is to take backup and restore.
