CUCM 7 VMWare

Hi all,

I heard earlier this year that CUCM 7 would be supported on VMWare. Now that it is out and we are planning to buy one, I am extremely interested to know if it is supported?

Hi Shail,

Sadly not. The install of CCM on VMWare is still only supported for Lab/study purposes and not for production environments :(

Server Support

Make sure that you install and configure Cisco Unified CM Release 7.0(1) on a Cisco Media Convergence Server (MCS) or a Cisco-approved HP server configuration or a Cisco-approved IBM server configuration.
