Good evening,
I am running CUCM 8.6 and was uploading a WAV MOH file when the window froze, I attempted to try again but was only getting a blank screen.
I checked the MOH server and the registration status was showing as 'Unknown'
I restarted the IP Streaming service and still nothing.
I rebooted both Publisher and Subscriber and the MOH server is still showing as 'Unknown'
Any suggestions? I am at a loss here...

is this on a physical server or VM ?
after the reboot whats the status of the IP Streaming media voice service..

Defect CSCtr11072 addresses the MOH upload problem.
UCSInstall_UCOS_8.6.1.21002-1.sgn.iso corrected the MOH upload problem.

This has now been identified as a bug in 8.6.1 by Cisco TAC. Do not upload custom MOH files or you may face a similar situation with your MOH service.
Currently there is no fix to restore the MOH service or any way to upload custom MOH.

there is another bug id : CSCud05830
In fact, this bug id is young and the work around is bad..
Actually, if you open a SR you can ask to have the new IPvoice media streaming module. This is what I did.
the bug id is not cover by any upgrade now,
My SR was : 623379439 if you want to take it as a reference to ask the TAC for the new IPVMSD
