Hi Guys,
My Customer have the CUCM 8.6.2 and is receiving the follow message: "System is operating on invalid licenses, Call Manager service will go down after the grace period of 30 days expires. Please obtain valid license files and upload". Until where I know the license about CallManager not expire. The Customer inform too that the license of CUCM actual is valid. Can have another problem, for example, the CUCM is with license valid and license demo simultaneously and this can be affect? If yes, is possible only delete demo license. I am attaching the print with error message.
Thanks,
Wilson

Hi Mate,
You are right CUCM licenses do not expire. You dont need to delete the DEMO licenses.
The license MAC for CUCM 8.X on UCS is calculated from the below parameter, If you change any of the below license MAC changes, and it starts showing DEMO license:
http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/8_0_2/install/cmins802.html#wp584709
The MAC address of the NIC card is no longer used to associate the license to the server.
Instead, the license gets associated to a license MAC, which is a 12 digit HEX value created by hashing the following parameters that you configure on the server:
•Time zone
•NTP server 1 (or "none")
•NIC speed (or "auto")
•Hostname
•IP Address (or "dhcp")
•IP Mask (or "dhcp")
•Gateway Address (or "dhcp")
•Primary DNS (or "dhcp")
•SMTP server (or "none")
•Certificate Information (Organization, Unit, Location, State, Country)
Confirm with your customer if that's the case, you will need to rehost your license. Email licensing@cisco.com and they should be able to help with this. Even though the symptoms point to license MAC change still if there's another issue licensing team should be able to assist you

Hi Wilson,
In addition to what Terry has said, you can also check in existing licenses .For Permanent license file , you should get "PERMANENT" and for temporary license file, you should get DATE.
I am sharing sample from CCM and CCX
INCREMENT CCM_NODE cisco 7.0 permanent uncounted
INCREMENT CRS_ENHICDSRVR cisco 9.0 7-jun-2014 uncounted

Hi Terry and Aman,
The Customer informed to me that changed Time zone and NTP server, but, after this, he return the original value (NTP and Time zone), but, the problem still continue. I would like know if this necessary reboot the CUCM, for this message disappear or is necessary to do re-host the license
Thanks,
Wilson

Hi Wilson,
If u have a backup of old licnese file, try deleting the one which is showing "Invalid license " after customer has changed /reverted to same NTP and then, upload the License file again.
Hope this would help.
