Hello,
I have a CUCM 8.x with MGCP gateway with E1 card.
I want to have some specific numbers from the E1 for the managers to receive the call directly on them and to dial directly from them without any access code.

Hi Marc,
1. You can forward the call to the managers's DN using the Incoming routing Signifcant Digit and Prefix digit option. Just go to Device->Gateway->Select the gateway-> Select the E1 card.
2. You can use the line directly just creating a Route pattern -> Route Option: FXO Port (Best practice should be creating a Route List-> RG-> FXO Line)

If you mean something like you want to assign a channel from the E1 to a manager and make it his personal line, that's not possible.
You can buy DIDs so they can be reached from the outside, but cannot reserve/assign a channel with an E1 using MGCP

Jaime is absolutely right, at least using MGCP is not possible...You will have more flexbility using a H323 or SIP Trunk, there's some workaround you can use.

Yes i have DID on the E1, and configured the incoming calls to the managers as per the DID and used the CSS and RG for the outgoign calls on the direct lines.
Thank you
Best regards
