Can someone help me understand how Enhanced Plus Licencing works on CUCM 9.1 with Extension Mobility? Basically, I have this setup -
200 Enhanced Plus Licences
150 End Users
150 Physical Phones (various models)
150 CSF Devices for Jabber
To use up an Enhanced Licence, I need to set the 'Owner User ID' under both the physical device (which is chosen at random since it has a dummy logged-out number assigned to it), and one CSF device. However, the Admin Guide says -
From the drop-down list box, choose the user ID of the assigned phone user. The
user ID gets recorded in the call detail record (CDR) for all calls made from this
device. Assigning a user ID to the device also moves the device from “Unassigned
Devices” to “Users” in the License Usage Report.
Note - Do not configure this field if you are using extension mobility. Extension
mobility does not support device owners.
Does this refer to the CDR built into CUCM, or all third party CDR apps too? Has the wrong amount of licences been purchased for what I'm trying to achieve?
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Hi Jason,
As far as I know, in CUCM version 9.0(1) and 9.1(1) , EM was a licensed feature . In 9.1(1a), it has been removed.

Aman is correct (+5), Cisco resolved this in 9.1.1a where EM is no longer requiring any licensing.
