We have a customer running latest CUCM version 9.1.1a, we have to change the hostname of the CUCM Pub as part of the hostnames change they wanted to do for a while. According to this Cisco doc
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/install/9_1_1/ipchange/ipchg911.html#wp42511
after changing the hostname we have to rehost the license in ELM. We changed the hostname reboot the servers all replication is good and we sychronised in ELM all updated now looks good and no errors in ELM. Now I'm not sure how to rehost the license with the new hostname my question is do we really have to rehost licenses at this point or no?

Thanks Chris. Though I checked the forum before I post the question I did not see this one anyways that is what I thought when I did not see any errors in ELM but just want to confirm. Thanks again for your quick response.

Hi
Go to PUB in cli
Show status and check there if the license mac address has changed
If yes then for sure you have to reshost the lic file
Just generate a new request and send it to the licensing from the ELM
If NO then no worries!!!
