Dear All ,
I hope that you doing well .
My customer have a CUCM cluster " PUB, 1 Sub " Version 8.6.2.20000-2 on hardware model " R210-212160sw " , we have a new Cisco Business Edition 6000 servers and we need to migrate and upgrade the cluster to 11.5 version with 1 PUB , 2 SUB , the IP Phones getting IP using DHCP and static for some remote site .
I need a help on how I should proceed with this exactly , is there a possibility to upgrade to 11.5 then backup and restore to new same version on new Hosts , or backup and restore to 8.6 on the new Hosts Pub then build a cluster , or what exactly should i do ?
Thanks

Either option is valid, you can also use PCD to migrate directly to 11.5

Assuming you want to upgrade and then move, yes, your current HW needs to support the target version.
