CUCM IM & Presence 10.5

Hello,

I have created services and service profile on CUCM 10.5 and assigned to local user (NO LDAP SYNC) in user management>end user, but these users are not sync with CUP i see 0 users in CUP 10.5

Any hint for troubleshooting.

Please check if "Enable User for Unified CM IM and Presence (Configure IM and Presence in the associated" parameter is checked on end user page.


 

yes vivek  it is checked.

Hi,

If all required configuration in call manager is correct, try to run "system troubleshooter" in CUPS if it shows you any integration error.

Dears thanks for the reply,

actually my colleague removed the tick from Enable User for Unified CM IM and Presence now

the user are  appearing in the CUP,

 

i want to know when we add a subscriber in the default sub cluster before adding the subscriber in the default subcluster the services should be stop on the subscriber ?????

Not needed.

Only when you enable "Enable High Availability" on CUCM for IMP you might restart the IMP servers (at least that is what I do)

IMP (CUP) version 10 are now subscribers to the CUCM publisher.

When you enable the user for "Unified CM IM and Presence" the user should be visible in IMP (System/Presence Topology)

Did you enable all services on IMP?
