CUCM License File Upload Error.

Hi all,

Am getting the following error (attached image) while trying to upload a device license to Cisco UCM 7.1.5, verified that MAC Address is correct.

Also, trying to understand the relation between INCREMENT PHONE_UNIT cisco 8.0 permanent uncounted \ and the actual UCM version? When the license file indicate cisco 8.0, does this means the file can only be used on UCM 8?

I think this is failing because it's set for a virtualized installation (i.e. license MAC). Email the license to licensing@cisco.com and tell them that this is not a VMware installation. If memory serves it will change "HOSTID=HOSTNAME=" to just "HOSTID=".
