CUCM Licensing help required

Please can someone explain how IPT CUWL and UCL Licensing works to me from my bill of material below. My work has bought a CUCM MCS7816 with 100 CUWL licenses (LIC-UWL-PRO)as shown below in my message.

Does this mean that we can have 100 users with any model of Cisco IP phones. The tradional DLU based licenses used to require 3 licenses for some high end phones. Does the CUWL and UCL licenses which is based on Users rather then devices allow the user to have one license for any Cisco phone including the high end phones?

Also why is there only one CUWL-LIC (CUWL Top Level) for 100 users?

Also if i have 100 public space licenses are these 100 phones independent of the 100 user licenses. So i can have 100 users with 100 phones associated to them and also 100 public phones with no user associated with them. Which means a total of 200 phones.

Also the ANLG-DEV-UWL - does this allow me 100 analog phones devices to register to CUCM

Hi,

The difference beetwen CUWL and UCL licensing mode is that for UCL you need a device licence for application and CUWL includes all features application for device in a certain of time, for example:

If you will have CUCM, Unity Connection and Presence you have 3 differente applications so depending the model of your IP phones you need diffentent IP Phone license so:

For UCL Licencing.- You need 100 User license like Enhanced User Connect License or Basic User Connect License, maybe a upgrade from basic to enhanced user, this for CUCM. For Unity Connection you will need 100 Voicemail licenses and for Presence you will need add 100 licenses for this feature.

Total you will have 300 features licenses.

For CUWL Licencing.- You only need 100 licenses for all features and you will use them for a certain lapse of time for example 3 years, after 3 years you have to renew them.

If it is useful please rate.

Best regards.

So with 100 x CUWL Licenses does this mean that we can have 100 users with any model of Cisco IP phones. The tradional DLU based licenses used to require 3 licenses for some high end phones. Does the CUWL  licenses which is based on Users rather then devices allow the user to have one user license for any Cisco phone including the high end phones?

Also does the 100 x CUWL licenses definitely include Unity Connection and Presense  all inclusive for three years?

Please can you confirm.
