Hello All,
I am trying to migrate my CUCM cluster 11.5.1.12900-21 to another host. Target also will be using 11.5.1.12900-21.
I am getting the below error.
Any Insight?
IPM|Internal Error, File:ipm.c:2011, Function: ipmReadNormalizedInputLine(), "/usr/local/cm/script/cm-dbl-install RU PostInstall 11.5.1.12900-21 11.5.1.12900-21 /usr/local/cm/ /common/m1_root_dir/cluster-192.168.0.247/node-192.168.0.247//component/database /common/log/install/capture.txt " failed (1)|

if you are using PCD for migrating to same version will fail. it can only be used for migrating to a different version.

Hello Nithin,
Thanks a lot for your response. Is it fixed any of the later releases like 12.5x?
And what will be the best method to migrated in this case? Copy the VM files from one host to another?

you cannot use PCD in such scenario and AFAIK its not fixed but you can migrate to a differing version. With Vmotion it could be possible to move VM's but I never tried it. The last option is DRS restore.

Correct, you can migrate the VMs using vmotion to different host and/or
different storage. No need to migrate if your just want to move the VM into
different environment. If they aren't at the same location, you can
export/import the VM.
