Solved: CUCM Restore

Hi

Is it possible to restore CUCM from a backup made in version 8 to CUCM Version 11?

If so then how?

Hi M,

For CUCM backup and restore, the version should exactly match (even the patch number). Otherwise the backup cannot be used.

However if you just want to migrate some configuration from CUCM 8 to 11, you can try using export/import option in BAT as it will help to a little extent though it cannot be used to get all configuration where there are different parameters in CUCM 11 than 8 and validation fails in most scenarios.

Thanks for letting me know

Will import the users using BAT as that takes up most of the time

Then will configure everything else manually
