Hello,

I have an issue that the client upgrade CUCM Version from 8.6.2-20000-2 Restricted to  8.6.2.25900-8 Unrestricted.

Can i go back to CUCM 8.6.2-20000-2 Restricted? Or i have to rebuild the cluster?

Hi Jaime and Leonardo,

It is possible, you can revert back to previous CUCM Version 8.6.2 Restricted Version (which should on the Inactive partition) from the CUCM Version 8.6.2.25900-8  Unrestricted Version (on the active partition) and then again upgrade to CUCM Version 8.6.2.25900-8  Restricted Version.

So, be aware that all config done until the date of upgrade will be lost.

Best regards,

Daniel

You can only go from restricted to un-restricted, there is no way to change from un-restricted to restricted, other than building a new cluster and using BAT to migrate the information.

Why would they want to go to un-restricted????

Unless they're in one of the few countries where you cannot get a restricted image, I don't see a reason to do that.

I dont know why they do this upgrade.
