Hi Team,

We have cluster of three Cucm 9.1.2 (Pub Sub1&2). Half phones are registerd with Sub 1 and half Sub 2 .There is Sip trunk with an other company having CUCM Pub & Sub. Route pattern and Sip trunk configuration is correctly configured.

From trunk Incoming calls are working fine and outgoing from Sub 1 phones is also fine. However Sub2 phones outgoing calls is not working??

Please make sure that the field "Run On All Active Unified CM Nodes" is checked on SIP trunk. Alternatively you can also check this field on Route list.

If its already checked , please share more details.

Safdar

Please rate if it helps.

Best wishes,
Safdar

Hi Waqas,

Can you provide us some more details about the call flow like from CUCM is the call going out to a CUBE/gateway or to a different cluster?

If the call is going out through a different cluster make sure you have all the servers which are part of CM group defined on trunk 1 is added as destination IP address on the cluster 2.

For example, if you have three nodes in Cluster 1 and 3 nodes in Cluster 2:

Cluster 1:

3 nodes, PUB 1 and SUB 1.2

Trunk_1

CM Group assigned to the device pool associated with the trunk: SUB 1 SUB2

Destination Address: SUB2 and SUB3

(In accordance with the CM group on Cluster 2)

Cluster 2:

4 nodes: 1 PUB and 3 SUB

Trunk_2

CM Group: SUB2 and SUB3

Destination Address: SUB 1 and SUB2 (In accordance with the CM group on Cluster 1)

If you plan to have the run on all active nodes then you will have to include all the trunks. It depends on the call flow and the number of servers you have in the clusters and if they are separated by WAN or at the same site.

Aseem

Hi Aseem,

Its Sip trunk to a different cluster.

Cluster 1 have only one trunk that contain both IPs (Pub & Sub) of cluster 2.

Cluster 2 have one trunk that contain three IPs (Pub Sub 1&2) of cluster 1.

Run On All Active Unified CM Nodes" is also checked.

We have to two CM group one with Sub 1 with priority and other with Sub 2 priority, half phones are register to one group other to the second group.

you mean to say to create more trunks instead one in each cluster ?
