I have CUCM version 8.6.2.20000-2 running on VMware ESXi v5.0.0, and when it was restarted there was the error Database Communication error, there was no IP Address or hostname change, "A Cisco DB" service is not running:
admin:utils service list
A Cisco DB[STOPPED] Component is not running
... and cannot be started:
admin:utils service start A Cisco DB
Service Manager is running
A Cisco DB[STARTING]
A Cisco DB[STARTING]
A Cisco DB[STARTING]
Component is not running
A Cisco DB[NOTRUNNING]
What can I do on this situation?? Any ideas that could help me??
It's a single node, this is the server information for CUCM server:

2 vCPU: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5506 @2.13GHz
Disk 1: 500GB

Qiyu, I can't initiate any GUI service, I'll try it with OS Administration and post the results.
Thanks for your comments.

Do you have a backup? You can make a fress install as last resource...

Hi opeyemityusuf,
first of all, use the following command to check your problem:
show perf query class "Number of Replicates Created and State of Replication"
