Hello Guys,
I am new into IP Telephony world, I need to get some information regarding uploading a .wav file on CUCM7 which will be used for unicast MOH.
How can I proceed with this??
What I tried doing is :
1) log in into Publisher.
2) Click on Media Rescources >> MOH audio file Management >> Upload file >> Browse >> select the file.
But this gave me below error:
Error: [1034] Upload Failed. Please upload a valid Audio File. |
3) I tried the same thing on dedicated MOH servers however got the same error.
I have two dedicated servers for MOH, publisher is not being used for MOH. Do I still need to upload the .wav file on publisher.
Please advice.
Thanks.

Can you please check the format of the wav file?
*The recommended format for audio source files includes the following specifications:
*16-bit PCM wav file
*Stereo or mono
*Sample rates of 48 kHz, 32 kHz, 16 kHz, or 8 kHz
Most standard wav files serve as valid input audio source files, including the
following file types:
*16-bit PCM (stereo/mono)
*8-bit CCITT a-law or mu-law (stereo/mono)

Can you please send me the .wav file?

The files need to be uploaded on the MOH servers that are being used using:
Media Rescources >> MOH audio file Management >> Upload file >> Browse >> select the file
If there are no MOH servers in the publisher, the file need not be loaded on the publisher.

As I understand I need to upload the file on both the dedicated MOH servers and not on the publisher (in my case) ??
I am trying to do the same
ie: Click Media Rescources >> MOH audio file Management >> Upload file >> Browse >> select the file
But getting the same error

Was this error after you changed the format of the wave file and made the bit rate 128kbps?

Can you please restart the cisco ipvms and the upload the file

Actually I can't do it now.
Is there any issue with the file format ???
Do I have to restart the ipvms service everytime I upload the file on the server else I'll get error ??

I was able to upload your file to my call manager. You do not need to resart the ipvms everytime before you have to upload a file. But since it is happening at my end and the upload is not happening at your end, the ipvms service restart may help in this case.

Nothing else ???
