CUMA LDAP search error

Hi all,

I am having some issues integrating Cisco Unified Mobility Advantage (CUMA) with MS Active directory.

When completed the Active Directory Advanced Settings configuration and click “Test Config” it comes with the following error, (please also see attched).

------------------------------------------------
Configuration Error Details:
  .  Search error.
------------------------------------------------
When I search for a user, it doesn’t return any users.

I have verified the Search Base I used is correct and this works fine for CUCM LDAP integration

Admin DN and Admin Password are also correct.

CUMA Version is 7.1.3
MS Active Directory is 2008
CUCM version is 8.0.2

I have checked below link and it says “September 2009” is that mean it is already supported?

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/prod/collateral/voicesw/ps6788/vcallcon/ps556/product_bulletin_c25-468500.html

Your help on this will be much appreciated

Thanks
Mohammed

Hi

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

Mohammed

Hi

Do you use a custom filter in your Active Directoy?

And if possible could you please also attach the snapshot of the User Activation / Deactivation Page?

Regards

Rajamani

Hi Rajamani,

Thanks for your responce. Do you mean on the filter on the Domain Controllers?

Please see attched screen shot as requested.

Thanks

Mohammed

Hi Mohammed,

Yes i want to know whether you use Customized Filters in your Active Directory - Domain Controller ? Because if that is the case then we may need to change the search filter

Regards

Rajamani

Hi Rajamani,

No Customized Filters are used in your Active Directory.

Thanks

Mohammed

Hello Mohammed,

Can you try this filter in the 'Advanced Settings' tab in CUMA and let me know how it goes?

    (& (objectClass=user) )

You probably have to restart the CUMA server after making this change.

Sorry, the correct format is

(& (objectClass=user))
