Is it possible to use the CUPC client from the internet without having to go through VPN? I have my UC Servers inside of my network behind an ASA firewall and would like to have users be able to access all the services for CUPC without having to VPN in. Does the ASA UC Proxy work in this envirnment?
thanks

I would say so, you will need to have a public IP address that does static NAT to your CUPS. I am not sure how ytou could get the softphone part of CUPC running though.

If you have NAT on firewall, make sure you enable packet inspection. So the NAT not only translate the IP header, but also translate the payload. Then your CUPC presence and soft phone should work fine.
