Dear NetPro gurus,
With CUPC (version 8.0), if my client is using softphone mode, then it is easy. All i need to to create a new CSF Device for each user.
But if all of their users already have a Cisco Phone on their desk, and if they are using DeskPhone mode. Do I still need to create a CSF Device for each individual staff member?
Would greatly appreciated if anyone can shed some light on this.

Yes, cause the CSF is different profile and use for cupc. Then it tie to the desk phone and control via cti.

So regardless of whether my client use CUPS for Softphone mode or DeskPhone mode, i still need to create a CSF for them?
If so, is there anything different on the configuration steps between the two?

Hi Hunt,
But normally people will using CSF and without deskphone. Cause the CSF is combination with phone call (softphone) & presence features.
