Hi,
I have installed a BE6K with 25 CUWL standard license.
It seems all the phones are assigned to the enhanced licenses, for which we have no license.
Several users have two phone's and the CUWL allows up to 10 devices per user.
We assigned users to the phone (owner user ID) and did a sync, but still it seems it counts all the phones separately.
We have around 25 users and 40 phones.
Why aren't 2 phones counted to one CUWL user?
Thanks,
Bye,
JH

I assume you are running CUCM 9 with ELM?
If you assign less than two or less devices to a user an Enhanced license is used - effectively one of the CUWL licenses is borrowed.
If you assign three devices to a user then a CUWL Standard License will be used.
By assign to user I mean set the Owner User ID on the phone config page.
I would try assigning three phones to one user and then refreshing ELM and seeing what it shows.

Yes I am running ELM and CUCM 9.1.2
Rather confusing
I thought CUWL would be better then the enhanced.
I shall check about assigning 3 phones to a user.
Thanks,
Jan
