Decommission UC Cluster

Hi everyone,

We're in the process of decommissioning an old UC Cluster since we transitioned to v14 a few months back. For a while, we were running both v11 and v14 clusters in parallel due to some legacy services still operating on the older version.

Given our extensive environment and numerous integrations between services, I’m seeking advice from the community on the critical steps and checks needed before shutting down the old servers. I want to make sure we don’t overlook or leave any active services running on the old cluster.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

There are the details of the cluster we need to decommision;

CUCM Version: System version: 11.0.1.10000-10
CUCM Nodes: 6 CUCM Nodes
CUC Nodes: 2 CUC Nodes Version 11.0.1.2000-2
IMP Nodes: 2 Nodes
Expressway: Software Version 12.7.1
Cisco Telepresence Conductor: XC4.1

When you mention that you’ve moved, it implies a migration process where all services running on the old system are transferred to the new one. It would be helpful to know what exactly you’re expecting or what you wish to verify with the old system.

During migration( using PCD , Fersh install, DRS restore option) , nothing should be missed and this will be applicable if you’re deploying this v14 cluster as a new one.
