Running CUCM 10.5
Looking to delete phones as we are charged for them however, would like the calls to continue going to voicemail even though phone is deleted.
Thought calls would continue to flow as long as the directory number was in the system.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Can you confirm that the DN actually still exists on your CUCM (upon deletion of the phone), by checking at "Call Routing->Route Plan Report"?
If the number is still there, could you check the "Call Forward and Call Pickup Settings" and set on this number "Forward All" to Voicemail. while making sure that the CSS is correct?

If the DN is not associated to a phone, you will want to set Call Forward Unregistered to voicemail.
