Hi All,
How do I determine the IP address used for TFTPD64 when IP address for router is 192.168.0.12 as I attempted to upload files into CUCM but after restarting TFTPD64 no files were uploaded into CUCM.
Using vmware to host cucm 7.0.1.
Server running vmware is 192.168.0.102
TFTPD shows 3 ip address ranges being 127.0.0.1 and 2 others being VMNET1 (IP address) and VMNET8 (IP address) (both virtual)
Using Bridged which users same subnet of host ip being 192.168.0.102. And as router IP is 192.168.0.12., I have made CUCM as TFTP. So that should be same IP address with appropriate option
Not using CUCM TFTP. Thought I would use TFTPD 64.
If anything needs clarifying.. please let me know..

Yes, that is right John, endpoints can request for config file from CUCM using HTTP \ TFTP to pull there configuration.

If you have already added the endpoints to CUCM, you should be able to pull the config, check the link below.

Hi John,
Are you looking to find what TFTP IP address is used by endpoints to pull config?

Thanks Jitender for the quick response.
No. Trying to upload config files to CUCM using TFTPD.

Hi John,
that is not a recommended configuration. CUCM would generate config file when you add the phone to CUCM by Manual \ BAT \ Auto-registration options.
Why are you looking to do so.

Thanks Jitender. So I presume it uses the config files in its database and configure settings in CUCM to upload into phone based on model number and DN..

If MAC addresses are already entered into CUCM, I presume they would have to be deleted to assist in auto registration?
