Diasble phone during certain times

I had an interesting request from a user and I am hoping that someone might be able to help.

I have a phone that is used by the public and we need to have the phone disabled between 22:15 and 07:30 every day.  I don't even know if this is possible or not.  I have some experience working with time-of-day settings but wasn't sure how I could accomplish this end goal.

In Cisco Unified Communications Manager 7.x and up you can define a "Time Period" and place that Time Period in a "Time Schedule" you then can add that scheduel to a Partition. This should render the results your client is requesting. The end device will see no physical change, the CSS that references a partition that has adherance to a time schedule will affect its call routing.

Hi,

If this phone is registered to the CME you can use after hours call blocking feature to block all calls between 22:15 and 07:30 every day. Check the following doc for its config

In case the phone is registered to the CUCM, you can use Time of the day routing to achieve youe end result as suggested by Mark. You can make identical route patterns which are already present in the CUCM but assign it a different partition(say PT_test) and apply time schedule to these new patterns so that they come into effect only during 22:15 and 07:30 every day. Instead of routing the calls, block all calls in these new route patterns. This phone should have a CSS which should contain a partition PT_test on top followed by other partitions containing the normal route patterns used for routing the calls. Hence only during 22:15 and 07:30 every day will the new partition PT_test come into effect and block all calls. During the rest of the day, outgoing calls will work fine from this phone.
