Hello,
How can I pull directory number in bulk from Call Manager. I have a list of over 700 numbers and I would like to check if they exist in the Call Manager. How can I do it in bulk instead of one by one?
Thanks,
Marcin

Hi Marcin,
One of the better reports comes from this section of CUCM which
shows all configured DN's
From CUCM admin Call Routing > Route Plan Report and once it loads
up look at the top right hand corner of the page for "View in File" this will allow
you to save a copy in .csv format
And then I would go to Call Routing > Route Plan Report> Unassigned DN's
This should give you a good overview.
Cheers!

Thanks Rob,
But what if I need to do some updates to all of those DIDs, let's say put them all in different partition or CSS. Is there anyway to do it in bulk?
Thanks so much...

Hi Marcin,
You can do changes in bulk using BAT;

Thanks Rob,
I went thru all the options in 'Bulk Administration' menu and I was not able to find a way to pull specific DIDs in bulk.
The only way i found to update the directory numbers is in 'Find and List Directory Numbers To Update' but there you can only update 10 numbers at a time.
Do you have any suggestions?
Cheers,
Marcin

Bulk export phones will give you all phone details.
This generates a TAR with the phone.xsv and header file.
From this you could filter the on the DN's (in phone.csv) you want to change.
Make updates on filtered phones/dn's.
Repack the TAR upload, Bulk import with overwrite option.
This can make unitended changes if you are not careful, aka remove phones from the csv you do not want to change. Using BAT for this overwrite can be erratic depending on version of CUCM. I would suggest change on 1 or 2 phones first to test then proceed.
Also remember to deal with the Unassigned DN's depending on your dial-plan
