Need to do this on a few 7942's and 7937's, Call Manager 6.1
I searched and the only thing I came up with was someone suggesting disabling "log missed calls" under the specific DN's. I have no option for log missed calls? Is this only in newer versions? Any ideas?
Thanks,
Rick

Hi
Yes, that appeared in 7 or 8, not sure which.
At any rate you can try my little workaround for this issue :

Hi Aaron
I think the "log missed calls" was also available in 6.1, but we just upgarded to 8.6 so I can't check anymore...
Rick, it should be the last field on the Directory Number page, "Edit Line Appearance", in the "Line X on Device YYY" section.
Anyway, with this option unchecked, placed and received calls will still be logged. This option is useful if you don't want the phone to log missed calls on a shared line.
So Aaron's workaround is the way to go

Good to hear it, thanks for the rating!
Hopefully you rated my old post as well, otherwise Cisco don't send me food.
