A questing from a client...
Can the 7912 PC Port be disabled like on other models. It appears that the "Disable PC Port" is not an option on the Device page for this model.
Thanks in advance,
Brian

Hi Brian,
Hope all is well!
As you have seen, the "Disable PC Port" setting is not available on 7912's. The only way to disable the PC is via your Switchport Config (setup with only Voice VLAN and no Data VLAN).
Hope this helps! I know it's a pain :(

Thanks Rob, hope all is well with you too.
I suspected this was the approach, though I suggested they create a DMZ-type no-man's land VLAN and assign it to the port. I figured if you don't specify any VLAN you'll get VLAN1 ... which (depending on the client) may still be able to access other endpoints.
Nonetheless I have my answer. Thank you again sir!

Due to the limitations of the 7912 we set port security on the Ethernet Switch to MAX Mac Count 1 with Violation shutdown.
