DLUs on 8.6(2) and Analog question

Hey all,

I was just told that from about 7.1 to present DLUs were no longer in use.  I just found a page that says DLUs can be used up to 8.6(2).  CAn someone tell me which is correct?

I am asking because I was also told that under DLUs any analog phone behind a VG248 or VG224 does not consume any DLUs at all.  Can anyone confirm?

DLUs are still used on the back end side up until CUCM 9.0.

You could not purchas DLUs licensing model for quite some time though as you buy CUWL or UCL licenses which simply translated to DLUs.

Even tough analog devices do not consume any DLUs in CUCM you are suppose to purchase analog licenses.
