I have CCM 4.2.3. I don't see call pickup feature. I only see call pickup group. What do I have to do to see call pickup listed under feature.

Where exactly is the problem? In the phone's softkeys? if that is our problem then take a look to the softkey template assigned to the phone and make sure to add the pickup softkey.

Hi Abye,
This is what you want to see (Call Pickup Group) so this is a good sign :)
Adding a Call Pickup Group
This section describes how to add a call pickup group to the Cisco Unified CallManager database.
Procedure
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 1 Choose Feature > Call Pickup Group.
Step 2 In the upper, right corner of the window, click the Add a New Call Pickup Group link.
The Call Pickup Group Configuration window displays.
Step 3 Enter the appropriate settings as described in Table 43-1 in attached doc.
Step 4 To save the new call pickup group in the database, click Insert.

For example: Say you wanted to setup a Pickup Group for the Sales Department and the phones in the department are 5555,1234,5540 and 5660.
Here are the steps involved in setting up a Call Pickup Group for a group of IP Phones;
Configure a call pickup group (Called Sales perhaps). Make sure that the call pickup group number is a unique directory number (integer) we will use 001 for this Pickup Group.
Optionally, configure visual or audio (or both) notification to members of the call pickup group that a call is available for pickup. (You can choose either or both here)
Assign the call pickup group number that you created above to the directory numbers that are associated with phones on which you want to enable call pickup:(Under Device>Phone for each of 5555,1234,5540 and 5660 you will assign Call Pickup Group 0001 and update)
Only directory numbers that are assigned to a call pickup group can use the Call Pickup feature.
*** You may need to configure the pickup (Pickup) and group call pickup (GPickup) softkeys for the phone, add the Standard User or Standard Feature softkey template to the phone.
Now when a call comes into any of 5555,1234,5540 or 5660 you will be able to use the Pickup Softkey to redirect the call to one of the other 3 phones.

Hope this helps!
