We have a 2821 ISR and want to set up conferencing. When I go to setup sessions I get 0-0 and understand this means I'm out of DSP. So, I've found that it looks like the 2821 will hold 3 modules so if I just drop another PVDM2-16 in will it work? Is there a limit to how big of a PVDM2 you can put in a slot? Does it only have to be PVDM2-16 or could I add a PVDM2-32?
Thanks!

Hi Preston,
Good question
Here's the scoop;
Any PVDM2 is supported in any native PVDM slot Cisco 2801, 2811, 2821, 2851, 3825, and 3845 and on NM-HDV2 (only PVDM2s are supported natively, not first-generation PVDMs)
From this good doc;
Cheers!

The root source of this is that we can only conference three participants right now (obviously from the built-in software bridge) and want to be able to conference more. Also, we can't see the ConfLi option on our phones (all 7940/60 series). If I put in another DSP and get the software side setup from what I've found I'll be able to conference more than 3 participants but does the ConfLi start showing up as an option on the phones?
Thanks again!
