DTMF issue

HI All,

Facing on issue as describe below,

CUCM version 8.6.2

Cisco 3900 Series router

Problem description:

Operator is dialing associates mobile number and patches(by transfer or conference) them in to conference(bridge) number  after that When user are dialed the Pincode from his mobile getting error this pincode is not valid from bridge.

Note: when operator dialed the pincode when she is in call with bridge number and mobile number pincode gets accpeted. when operator directly dialed the bridge number and enter the pincode she is able to get into conference bridge.

Your explanation is not very clear...Lets start by identifying what protocols are you using on your gateway? SIP or ISDN?

Can you describe your call flow..

CUCM--sip---gateway---E1--PSTN ?

Also what type of conference bridge are you using?

Please try and describe the problem again...

Call flow is given as below,

CUCM---MGCP Router----ISDN E1 PRI

Operator call to mobile number over the PSTN then she tranfer that call to conference bridge nuber, after that when conference bridge prompt for pincode to mobile user and he press the pincode, bridge gives the error invalid number dialed.

Looks like there is issue with DTMF delivery.

Check the call log when they are active on gateway and CUCM for Failed call and Passed call.

You will able to find out DTMF is delivered or not.
