DTMF Open door

Hi,

First, I am not very experienced in these issues, so if my terminology is wrong, please excuse me.

We are currently having some problems with buzzing open a door on our spa504G.

We have a 2R intercom wich is uses an ATA to call to the front desk.

We have it setup so that when the call coming from the intercom get picked up.

The front desk just has to type "00" during the call to buzz open the door.

Now after changing to a new ata from the same brand (grandstream) we are unable to open the door.

The weird thing is when i answer the call trough my mobile client (gs wave) i can still open the door.

But with the cisco spa devices it suddenly stopped working.

Does anyone have an idea of what could have whent wrong here?

Thanks in advance!

Likely you should look at settings for DTMF for the new device (ATA) as that would be what is used to open the door when you press “00”.

I would look at both the ATA and the device that is connected to the door (spa504G). What DTMF method do they support?

Hi,

Thanks for your response!
Wouldn't I have to look for the local DTLMF (spa504G) setting?
Since i am always able to open the door using the gswave app.
I also have uploaded the config file from the previous ATA to the new ATA (both grandstream).
But that didn't seem to change anything.
