We are switching to an external call center and while I am waiting for the telco to redirect our Toll-free numbers I want to hairpin inbound calls on our gateway. The hairpin works but DTMF does not. Any suggestions? I know DTMF relay is only for IP networks. The call arrives on dial-peer 10 is translated with a voice translation rule and it goes back out the same dial-peer. The call setup and connect is fine but the DTMF does not work. Not cool for a call center.
Thanks in advance.

There is no DTMF relay in POTS ports, but I have seen problems similar to this in POTS to POTS connections. It will normally TDM switch POTS to POTS calls, but that can break DTMF. Assuming that this is the right voice-card, try this.
voice-card 0
no local-bypass
That will force it to use a DSP (assuming you have sufficient resources) which should resolve the problem.

the dtmf was not working post transferring the call to the survey ivr, this fixed my issue.
