Hi,

Its a known bug

https://tools.cisco.com/bugsearch/bug/CSCuw28887/?reffering_site=dumpcr

Unable to upload large files using CUCM TFTP File Management
CSCuw28887
Description
Symptom:
Uploading a large file (over 250 MB) via TFTP File Management in CUCM OS Administration will fail. The process will time out with no error given.

This is easily reproducible using any CUCM version.

Conditions:
Per the developers, there is a 250 MB upload limit when using TFTP File Management.

Workaround:
Manually upload large files to CUCM TFTP via root using SFTP or SCP.

Note: This requires TAC assistance.
Please contact TAC.

Hello,

Thank you for help, can I know how to manually upload large files to CUCM TFTP via root using SFTP or SCP.

Hi,

Root access is available to TAC engineers , you need to open a TAC case.

Why not just use the COP file to install the firmware via normal SFTP upgrade process? I installed the latest DX Series firmware cop  (1.3GB) using this method without issue.

I just want to test the upgrade on one DX, I do want to change the load for all

In which case, once the COP has installed, change the defaults back to the previous and manually set the one you want. I do this all the time without problems.

Just to make sure, no need to restart the cluster after installing the COP, I have to install in TFTP servers only and restart the TFTP servers only. No need to install on PUB and SUBs and restart the cluster, only tftp services?

*IF* a COP is being installed to add firmware ONLY (i.e. not to add support for a new device type) then you are correct.

It is when you install a COP on the publisher that changes are made to the database. (Either changing the device defaults or adding support for a new device)

DX 80 is already added to my CUCM, all waht I want to do is to change the firmware
