DX80 License Requirement

I got a two qty of DX80 , i purchased CUWL PRO License is it supported or i need to buy TP room license?

Hi Siva,

DX 80 will not consume TP license and will work on CUWL PRO license if the owner user id is mapped properly. DX80 are treated as IP Phones only.

If the user using this device have multiple devices assigned then owner user id is must.

Licensing

Phone licensing depends on the call-control platform and its policies. For the Cisco Unified Communications Manager, the Cisco DX80 requires a minimum-level Enhanced IP User Connect License (UCL). There are no special licenses plus phone bundles for tier-2 distributors. The DX80 is not supported on third-party call-control systems.

You can work with CUWL Pro licenses as well. With this, u can have 10 devices mapped to a single owner id.
