Hi,

I try to build a E164 Dial Plan according to Germany dial plan. Unfortuantely I can not find a good guide to make this correctly.

Would you please help me by configuring:

1. Change the number to E164 dial plan in UC.

2. A user guide dial plan for Germany.

many thanks in advance.

Ana,

Take a look at this pdf from Cisco. It's old, but one of the examples they use is a dial plan for a site in Germany.

Hopefully it will help you.

i dont think there is a one size fits all for the german dial plan, you mention e164, is this dialing into your organisation, in which case I would set to E164 on your incoming GW/Cube. a lot of siip provider will already send you e164, for outbound its slightly different as people tend to not dial e164 outbound, if dialed from numberpad, so you would still need the non e164 route patterns. i would translate them to e164 outbound so you can have a single +49! for all outbound calls , route pattern,

but there are other ways to deal with it,

maybe you can eleborate a bit more on your requirements
