Ephone-dn trying to register to Sip-ua!

Hi,

After configuring SIP-UA on CME, I see that besides the username there are also all my ephone-dn trying to register to that SIP Server.

the ephone-dn is configured with no-reg both commend as below:

ephone-dn  1  dual-line
 number 234 no-reg both
 pickup-group 1060
 description Test
 name Test
 ephone-dn-template 1

also under the telephony-service the no-reg both command is applied:

telephony-service
 no auto-reg-ephone
 max-ephones 80
 max-dn 160 no-reg both

is there any other possibility to stop ephone-dn numbers trying to register to SIP-UA?

BRs,

bj

Hi BJ,

Can you try the workaround as per the following bug and also check if you are running one of the fixed versions of IOS

thanks a lot Manish,

it worked as per the bug workaround description, it just needed to restart the CME and now only the specified user is registering with SIP-UA.

Best regards,

BJ

Good to know that it worked with the universal age old trick of a reboot :) thanks for updating the post.
