I know when you want to reset the password for the Call Manager 'Administrator' account, we can do so by accessing the CLI and using the following command:
utils reset_application_ui_administrator_password
However, as per my understanding, this is only for resetting the account named 'Administrator'.
What do we do in an environment where the account for Call Manager Admin access is called something else, 'CCMAdmin' perhaps?

Hi Khan,
You need to reset the password on the user on the page and it would work.
(Rate if it helps)

You can use the following method
admin:set password user admin
Please enter the old password: ********
Please enter the new password: *********
Reenter new password to confirm: *********
Please wait...
Password updated successfully.
It doesn't matter if the admin account name that u created at the time of installing cucm was 'administrator' or 'ccmadmin' or 'admin' , it will change the password for whatever it was named at the time of installation.

utils reset_application_ui_administrator_password :- Will rest the Password for the Administrative account created during the Installation of the CUCM, what ever is the Username.
====> you can verify the Username from CUCM User>Application Users . Locate the Username which is shown as system Account (With CCMSuper User Access)and which cannot be deleted.
===> You can simply reset the password from the Application Menu for the default account or any other administrator account whatever is the name of the account.
==> To get the list of accounts with CCMSuper User Access just browse to UserManagement>UserSetting>Access Control Group,
Click on Standard CCM Super Users and In the New Window Click Find
Please don't forget to rate and mark correct.
Thanks
