Ephone-dn & Voice Translation Profile

Hi all,

I have 45 ephone-dn´s

The target is that one ephone-dn off these is only reachable from only one special dn. But a corlist is not the right option.

The traget is that when a phone calls the one ephone-dn the call is directed to the spezial Phone that can call the one dn.

example:

ephone-dn 1

number 140 (the one that should be only call from one special dn)

ephone-dn 2

number 141 (this dn soelde be able to call ephone-dn 1)

ephone-dn 3

number 100 (when this phone call 140 the call should reach the dn with 141)

so corlist is not an option.

i tried to use a translation-profile "translate called x"

rule :rule 1 /140/ /141/

the "test voice translation-rule x 140 works perfect.

When I place this on a dn it did not work. I tried to place the profile on the internal voice-port or dial-peer but this peer and ports only for the system .....

But is there a way ?

Philipp

What direction did you apply your voice translation rule? in or out? Translation rule applied to ephone-dn needs to be applied in   the inbound direction..e.g

ephone-dn 10

translation-profile incoming ephone

Please that there is a bug CSCeg65407 - translation-profile does not work on a ephone-dn on CME router

Symptom: Voice Translation-profile feature does not work on a Ephone of a

Cisco Callmanager Express router running Cisco IOS versions 123-11T2 or 123-

11XL.

Work-around: Use translation rule on pots or voip dial-peers to change the

number(s).

I believe this is fixed in 12.4 (latest) and upwards.

hm,

my config:

voice translation-rule 2

rule 1 /140/ /141/

voice translation-profile BM_to_VZ

translate called 2

ephone-dn 1

number 140

ephone-dn 2

number 141

ephone-dn x

number x

translation-profile outgoing BM_to_VZ

The Target behind :When a user call 140 the call goes to 141. The DN with the number 141 is the only number that sould reach the number 140

IOS Version : 15.1 on Cisco2921 SRST-CME Bundle

CME Version 8.1 that says CCP......

I use the CLI to configure

The Rule works perfect, but on witch dial-peer the profile not work. SO i need an outgoing dialpeer because of one dn that cann reach dn 1...................

destribute this translation through template etc or is there another way ?

on my configured dial-peers it won´t work because of "closest match" the systen would use the interna DIalpeer 20001 that is assoiate with ephone-dn 1 nor the voice-port 50/0/1.....

Bad trap i think :-)

corlist i come and a good apology to my customer :-)

OK call me Blind

IOS was ok but the logic off Dial-peers block the way to accept that the DIal-peers on dn´s must be inmplent the oposite way.............
