ERRCC_CODEC_MISMATCH caps mismatch

Looking at the snippet of a SDL trace does anyone have a definite answer as to why CUCM is reporting this error? Is it the codec pass-through capability of the MTP? This is on CUCM 11.5.

Chris,

The packetization period seem to be the issue here. Side A is doing 20ms and side B is 60ms. You will need a hardware IOS MTP for this

Thanks Deji, I did find misconfiguration on the region and will get it corrected Monday.  However I am puzzled as to where the (60) capability is coming from, I thought it ts packetization size and not payload size in bytes, can you confirm?  In either case any idea why it would be anything other than 20 for the ICT call to IPIVR over G711ulaw?

Chris totally error from me. It is indeed packetization. The packetization is 60ms. This looks like the issue you are having. You will need a hardware based MTP to transrate this.

Thanks, got me confused there for a sec :-)

Any idea why Cisco IPIVR over ICT would advertise 60 ms packetization size for all codecs? I cannot see I have ever seen it like that.

Can you send the full logs ( and include the calling and called number)..Are you saying that the region between the endpoint and MTP=sip-g729-11 and region between MTP and IVR= AU1?

Trying to ubderstand the region matrix before we delve into the caps. I am sure we can figure it out
