Extension Mobility and use SNAT

Hi Guys,

In our environment We have a solution of CUCM 12.5 working with one Publisher and 04 Subscribers. In this solution We have too the UCCX. In this time are needing implementing the extension mobility to Service Desk area. As this feautre is configured based in URL, are thinking in to configure in the balancer (BIG IP, for example). This way if the CUCM Publisher lost the connection there are not affectation in the Service. The doubt is, Extension Mobility to have Support to SNAT? I reaserch about this possible, but, didn´t found documentation about this.

Any have idea?

Not sure what SNAT is, but you can absolutely use a load balancer in combination with Extension Mobility. For this you'd need to make sure that the FQDN in the url used for the LB setup is present in the SAN of the certificate for tomcat in CM.

We do this today with F5 and this is the content of our SAN in the cert.

In addition to Roger’s guidance, the load balancer IP - as seen by CUCM, not the IP Phone - should be added to the EM Service Parameter Trusted IP Addresses. This isn’t necessary if Validate IP Address is false, but that creates a trivial exploit vector so I wouldn’t recommend it.
