Hi All,
I just wanted to check my logic here and see if this is possible to be completed on the voice gateway instead of CUCM.
I was wondering if there is way to configure the external number mask equivalent locally on a voice gateway. All of the users have External numbers but unfortunately they are spread across three external number ranges on separate BRI lines. I am assuming that the BRI lines hold only specific numbers and the three ranges are not split across all of the BRI lines.
All users dial 0 to get an outside line.
Internal EXT range
2081XX
External EXT to be presented
21205XX
21206XX
21207XX
At the moment in CUCM I am using the External Phone Number Mask 21205XX, 21206XX and 21207XX.
Any suggestions/help would be great!
Cheers
Nick

what type of gateway is it...you can you use translation profiles on a H323 based gateway..If its MGCP..you still do have the capability to create three separate route groups, route lists etc...and segregate the users accordingly. Each group of users will go out a different route group / route list and in the route list level you can mask the external phone number mask...THis will also require that you either use standard local route groups and 3 route groups / 3 device pools for each of these user groups..or else you ll end up creating all the route patterns required thrice..
