FAC code for ATA 186 is not working

Hi,

I have ATA 186 configured in SCCP mode....I have implemented ISD dialing (for FAX as well) using FAC code..But If i put ATA 186 with FAC code, then it stops sending FAX, where using the same FAC users can dial ISD numbers...any specific thing to be done for ATA 186??

Can you give some more details of the issue you are facing?

Does the fax not work on the ata at all or does it not work after entering fac code?

what if you connect the fax machine to a fxs port on the cme then does it work ?

Also please remember ATA 186 only supports fax passthrough.

This could be that the ATA is not recognized the DTMF key.
