I have a client who is having an issue where the staff in a very noisy factory floor industrial environment are frequently not hearing the Cisco phones when they ring even with the ringer volume is maxed out. Is there are gadget out there which can trigger either a bright flashing strobe light or a very loud ringing noise when calls come in? It would have to work with the Cisco IP phones obviously. TIA...

Hello,
What you need to do is install a shared line on an analog port (vg224,vg248, ata186 or fxs port), and you can hook up an analog loud bell to that, which will ring at the same time the IP phone extension is dialed.

Hope that helped, if so please rate.

Hi Peter,
Just to add a little note to the great tips from Kenneth (+5 points for this Kenneth :)
These Strobes will need to be connected to an Analog ATA (shared line with IP Phone)or FXS Port like nicely noted by Kenneth. I have had good luck with the Viking product line :)
