features not working after failover

Yesterday our phones failed over from primary to secordary then back to primary server. Now, features like Call Forward and voicemail indicator are not working from the phones. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to fix this? Is it a database issue?

What version are you on?

Sounds like DB replication might have an issue, take a look at this doc to check if db replication is OK:

HTH,

Chris

we are using version 8.6 thanks

the DB status report came back as 2 - replication is good

What call FW are you talking about?? and what do you see/hear when you try to enable/change it?

actually, at first I thought it was just a CFA and MWI issue. However, any changes made on the publisher are not being pushed to the phones. We have a TAC case opened but no leads yet

If changes are not pushing through, then it is a replication issue. I'd recommend re-initializing replication.

it turned out to be a database replication error. However, after syncing the database the servers needed to be restarted to fix the problem

Great, these types of issues as indicated in initial reply are usually common to DB replication issues.
