Finesse Reday / Not Ready is not appearing on the Finesse screen

Hi Team

 

I have an issue in Finesse. After user logged into Finesse, the Ready/ Not Ready is not appearing on the screen.

it is missing. what could be issue. what configuration is missing ?

Hi Esa,

If the "Ready / Not Ready" status is missing from the Cisco Finesse screen, here are a few things to check:

  1. Agent State Configuration:

    • Verify that the agent state configuration is correctly set up in the Finesse administration portal.
    • Ensure that the "Ready/Not Ready" button is enabled in the agent’s state configuration.
  2. Finesse Desktop Layout:

    • Sometimes the layout might have been changed. Ensure that the "Ready/Not Ready" button is part of the layout for the agent.
    • You can check and modify the layout via the Finesse admin settings.
  3. Finesse User Permissions:

    • Make sure the user has the correct permissions. The user must have access to the features required to change their status.
  4. Finesse Server Connectivity:

    • Confirm that the Finesse server is correctly communicating with the back-end systems (like CUCM and UCCE). Any issues with server connectivity could affect the availability of buttons.
  5. Browser Cache/Settings:

    • Clear the browser cache or try accessing Finesse in incognito mode. Sometimes, browser settings or cached data can cause UI issues.
  6. Restart Finesse Desktop:

    • If the above steps don’t resolve it, try restarting the Finesse desktop or even the Finesse server itself to ensure the settings take effect.

we are using UCCX server. The user is using browser to login to finesse. 

it is not working for this user only, other users, the Ready/Not Ready is appearing.
